Stand up for nature in Sydney

Nov 6, 2014Events

Thanks to everyone who got in touch about tickets to our Australian exclusive of the Sylvia Earle Mission Blue film, and apologies if you were not able to get a ticket – we sold out in under an hour! We’re currently looking for a bigger venue, so do leave your name on the waiting list and we’ll be in touch if more tickets become available.

If you missed out, there’s another exciting opportunity to hear Sylvia Earle speak next week and be part of the action at Stand Up for Nature! Reserve your free tickets here. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door on a first come, first served basis.

At Stand Up for Nature! you can hear from political leaders and conservationists like Sylvia Earle, be inspired by current community actions and find out how you can create positive change. This event, at Angel Place in Sydney on Sunday 16 November 2014, 11am – 1pm, will shine an international spotlight on Australian governments’ environmental records.

This meeting comes at an important time for NSW. The Baird government continues to allow fishing from the shore in our marine sanctuaries, and the Federal Government is considering roll-back of our new national network of marine sanctuaries including those off NSW.

Join us to stand up for nature and have your voice heard. We hope to see you there!
