Manly Daily: Sea creatures protest against marine sanctuary zones being opened for fishing

CABBAGE Tree Bay could be open to fishing if the State Government presses ahead with relaxing restrictions in marine sanctuary zones, according to local conservationist Dave Thomas.

Demonstrators dressed as mermaids, sharks and octopuses campaigned at Manly Beach against the NSW Government opening marine sanctuary zones to fishing.
